🧵 Transform your T-shirt into a wearable work of art with beautiful hand-embroidered floral designs.
🌸 Embrace the spirit of spring by adding colorful, nature-inspired patterns to your wardrobe.
🎨 All materials (except the T-shirt) will be provided—just bring a white or light-colored tee ready for a fresh start!

Led by Cyd, a queer visual artist, fashion designer, and founder of Pattern Nation, this workshop is the perfect way to explore your creativity while giving new life to your clothing. Cyd brings a wealth of experience as an artist, teacher, and designer, with a passion for community, self-expression, and bold patterns.

Join Cyd Eva and Brianna Mend Klassen of Pattern Nation for this two-hour creative fashion design workshop. we will guide you in bringing new life to old clothing, mending rips and stains, and creating a wearable piece of art with our expert guidance. 

Attend to one workshop to learn some basics and come back for more sessions to dive deeper into your textile reworking practice. We will have a few items of secondhand clothing available to incorporate into your designs, but encourage all participants to bring at least one item of clothing to get the most out of the workshop. 

We will be transforming pre-loved clothing into new creations using various techniques 

such as: Sewing Machine Basics, Textile painting, Embroidery & hand stitching, embellishing with rhinestones, sequins and more, Mending & patchworking
